Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into tracking baseball scores, and the Red Sox vs. Blue Jays games are always a blast. I decided to dive in and figure out how to really follow their matches. Here’s how it went down.

Started Simple – Just Watching
First, I just started watching the games. Duh, right? But I mean really watching. I used to just have them on in the background, but this time, I made sure to catch as many games as I could, live.
Getting the Info
Finding the schedule was the first hurdle. I needed to know when these games were happening. I poked around a few sports sites, looking for a good, solid schedule. I wanted something I could easily check without too much hassle.
Taking Notes
Then, I started, you know, actually writing stuff down. Nothing fancy, just a notebook where I jotted down the dates, times, and scores of each game.
- Date of the game
- Final Score
- Who won (obviously!)
- Any big plays or moments I wanted to remember
I am feeling really good about my note taking!
Making It a Habit
The hard part? Sticking with it! At first, it was a bit of a chore. I’d forget, or I’d be too lazy to grab my notebook. I started making it like anything important. Adding dates to my calendar application.

Summarize the games watched
I set aside the time to watch and got all my * track of the wins and losses, helped to figure out when the Red sox played well.
That’s pretty much it! I didn’t use anything super complicated. Just good old-fashioned note-taking, and some serious dedication to watching the games. It’s been fun, and I feel like I’m way more into the games now that I’m actually tracking them properly.
