Okay, so today I messed around with something called “pollock free form”. It’s basically digital splattering paint, kinda like Jackson Pollock’s style, but you do it on a computer.
I started by, you know, just finding a website that lets you do this. There are a bunch of them out there, super easy to find. I picked one that looked simple enough – no need for fancy tools or anything.
My First Splatters
At first, I was just clicking around randomly. BAM! Big blobs of color everywhere. It was… chaotic, to say the least. I played with the colors, just picking whatever felt right at the moment. Lots of blues, some reds, a splash of yellow here and there.
- Clicked like crazy – got big splatters.
- Moved the mouse slowly – got these thin, drippy lines.
- Changed colors on a whim – ended up with a rainbow mess.
Getting the Hang of It
Then, I started trying to control it a little bit more. Instead of just wild clicking, I tried dragging the mouse in different patterns. Swirls, zig-zags, you name it. It started to look less like a toddler’s art project and a bit more… intentional. I think.
I realized that the speed of your mouse movement really matters. If you go fast, you get these big, bold strokes. Slow it down, and you get these delicate, thin lines. It’s all about finding that sweet spot.
The Final Masterpiece (Maybe?)
After messing around for, I don’t know, maybe an hour? I ended up with something I didn’t totally hate. It’s definitely abstract, super colorful, and kinda wild. But hey, that’s the point, right?
It was actually pretty relaxing, just letting go and seeing what happens. No pressure to make it perfect, just pure, messy fun. Honestly, I might do this again sometime. It is like a digital stress ball.
