Okay, so I wanted to get my hands on the 1999 NASCAR Cup schedule. You know, just for kicks, to relive some of those old races. Figured it would be a simple search and grab, right? Wrong!
Digging Through the Web
First, I fired up Google, my trusty search companion. I typed in “1999 NASCAR Cup schedule,” expecting a clean, printable list to pop right up. Nope. I got a bunch of websites, some looking pretty outdated, others just linking to current schedules. Frustrating!
I spent a good chunk of time clicking around, opening different sites, and scrolling through pages. Some had bits and pieces of the schedule, but nothing complete. Others had schedules that were hard to read or in formats I didn’t like. It was like searching for a lost lug nut in a giant junkyard.
