Alright, so I wanted to keep better track of the Newcastle standings this season. You know, really get into it. So, I started looking around for a good way to do this.
Finding the Data
First things first, I needed a reliable source for the standings. I mean, there’s tons of sports sites out there, but I wanted something consistent. I poked around a few of the usual suspects.
I checked a few different sports websites, you know, the big names. Just to see what was out there and compare.
Getting it Displayed
Next using one of the site, I made sure I could easily see the table. I just wanted the basics – wins, losses, draws, goals for, goals against, goal difference, and points. You know, the standard stuff.
- Checked the layout – made sure it was easy to read.
- Looked for the key stats, not all the extra fluff.
Keeping Up-to-Date
I realized pretty quick that I needed to make this a habit. I needed to actually keep track of this throughout the whole season! I am trying to make a note of checking in on the table after each match.
It’s still early days, so hopefully checking few sites become a habit. I’ll see how this all goes long term, but so far, so good!
