Alright, so I wanted to see just how good this C.J. Stroud and Nico Collins connection really is in fantasy football. I’ve been hearing the hype, so I figured, let’s dig into the numbers and see what’s what.

First thing I did? I pulled up some game logs. I wanted to see their points together, week by week. I used, you know, the usual fantasy sites – looked at their scoring in my league, which is a pretty standard PPR format.
Breaking it Down Week by Week
Man, it was pretty interesting. I started jotting down their combined fantasy points each week. Some weeks these two were absolutely on fire! Like, seriously lighting it up. Other weeks? Kinda “meh.” You know how it goes, football is a wild game.
- Week 1: Okay, so not the best start. They had a decent showing, but nothing to write home about. I think Stroud was still, you know, finding his groove.
- Week 2: BOOM! Here we go. This is what I was looking for. Huge numbers from both guys. Collins was catching everything, Stroud was slinging it.
- Week 3: Another solid performance. Not quite as explosive as Week 2, but still, really good numbers.
- Week 4-? it went on and I made a really simple list, just noting the combined points, maybe a quick note if it was a particularly good or bad game.
Crunching the Numbers (Kinda)
After gathering a bunch of game data, I started looking for patterns. I wasn’t doing any, like, super complex stats or anything. I’m no mathematician! But I did some basic stuff:
- Average Points: I added up all their combined weekly scores and divided by the number of weeks. Gave me a good sense of their average output.
- Highs and Lows: I looked for their best and worst games. Just to see the range of possibilities. You know, how high is their ceiling, how low is their floor?
- Consistency:This is one of the things I was looking for. Was this the best game they played together?
The Average points they got together were pretty high, and I’m now going to be activley trying to have them both on my team. The consistency is what made it so good.
So yeah, that’s basically what I did. Just a good old-fashioned deep dive into the stats to see if Stroud and Collins are the real deal. Turns out, they kinda are! At least, based on what I’ve seen so far. I am defintely feeling good and going to play the duo going forward.
