Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get more into watching NFL games, but I always seem to miss them! It’s like they’re on at random times, and I can never figure out which channel to tune into. So, I finally decided to get to the bottom of it. No more missing games for me!

First things first, I grabbed my phone and started searching online for the schedule. It was a bit overwhelming at first, honestly. There are so many games and channels! But I took a deep breath and just started looking for today’s games. I saw that there were a few different networks that show the games, like CBS, Fox, NBC, and ESPN.
Figuring Out the Channels
-
CBS seemed to have a lot of the afternoon games, which is cool. I like watching games while I’m eating lunch.
-
Fox also had some afternoon games, so I figured I’d need to check between those two to see what game I wanted to watch.
-
NBC seems to be the place for Sunday Night Football, which is always a big game. I definitely wanted to catch that one.
-
ESPN is where they show Monday Night Football, so that’s another one to remember.
After I got a basic idea of which channel had which game, I went to my TV provider’s website to find the actual channel numbers. I jotted those down on a sticky note and put it on my fridge. Now I won’t have to go searching every time!
Setting Reminders
Just knowing the channels wasn’t enough, though. I needed a way to remember when the games were actually starting. So, I decided to set reminders on my phone. I found the game schedule online, and for each game I wanted to watch, I set an alarm for about 15 minutes before kickoff. That way, I have time to get snacks and get comfy before the game starts.
It took a bit of effort to get this all set up, but now I feel like a pro! I watched a couple of games today without a hitch. I just glanced at my sticky note, turned on the TV, and bam, there it was! No more frantically searching through channels. And my phone reminders worked like a charm. I didn’t miss a single kickoff! This is going to be a great NFL season.
