Okay, so the other day I was curious about how those pro golfers were doing, you know, the ones trying to make it big on the PGA Tour. I heard about this thing called the Korn Ferry Tour, apparently it’s like the minor leagues for golf. So, I decided to check out the Korn Ferry leaderboard to see what’s up.
First, I just did a quick search online. I typed in “Korn Ferry leaderboard” and a bunch of results popped up. There were a few different websites showing the scores and standings, so I just picked one that looked legit.
The website was pretty straightforward. It had a big list of all the players, their scores, and what round they were on. I started scrolling through, looking for any names I recognized. It was kind of cool to see how these guys were doing, especially since some of them might be on the PGA Tour soon.

Anyway, I kept digging around, and I found out that this whole Korn Ferry Tour is actually a series of tournaments throughout the year. They call it a “season,” just like in other sports. And this year, 2023, was the 33rd season, if you can believe it. That’s a lot of golf!
Eventually, I stumbled upon something called the “Korn Ferry Tour Finals.” Turns out, it’s a set of four tournaments at the end of the season, and these are the ones that really matter. The top 30 players from these finals get their PGA Tour cards for the next year. Talk about high stakes!
So, yeah, that’s basically what I did. I just explored the Korn Ferry leaderboard, learned a bit about the tour and the players, and got a glimpse into the world of professional golf. It was a pretty interesting way to kill some time, and I might even start following it more closely now. Who knows, maybe I’ll even watch some of the tournaments on TV!
