Okay, so, I really wanted to watch the Chiefs game, even though I’m in Germany. It’s not like watching a game back home, you know? It took a little bit of digging around to figure this out.
First, I went straight to try to find a bar that might be showing it. I checked out some place called The Peanut, and a couple others like Johnny’s Tavern and Up-Down, places that sounded promising. I mean, who wouldn’t want to watch the game with some fellow fans, right?
But then I figured, I should probably have a backup plan, just in case the bar thing didn’t pan out. So I started looking into how to stream the game.
- Option 1: The first thing that popped up was something called “NFL Sunday Ticket.” Sounded official, but I wasn’t sure if it worked in Germany.
- Option 2: Then there was “DAZN.” I’d heard of it before, seems like a big sports streaming service in Europe, so I thought this could be it.
I also saw that you can use other apps like ProSieben, and RTL. They seem pretty legit for watching stuff, so I made a mental note of those as well.
I did a little more digging and found out about NFL Game Pass International. It’s like a streaming thing from the NFL itself. It says you can watch old games and stuff. I thought, “Cool, even if I miss the live game, I can still catch up later.”
Then I had a thought. I could just stream it directly from the CBS website, just like back home! I made sure I had my TV provider login info handy, just in case. Turns out, you can watch CBS on other platforms too, like Fubo TV and YouTube TV. More options, the better, I always say.
I even found something about using a 加速器, Forest 加速器 to be exact. It’s supposed to let you watch stuff that’s not usually available in your country. I made a note of that, just in case the other options didn’t work out.
In the end, I managed to catch the game at a local sports bar. Turns out there were quite a few Chiefs fans in Germany! Who knew? But hey, it’s good to have options, and now I know exactly what to do next time there’s a game I want to watch. No way am I missing out again!
