So, I’ve been following Tyler Reddick for a while now, and 2023 was one heck of a year for him. I mean, the guy’s a beast on the track, right? I spent a good chunk of my free time this year keeping up with his races and let me tell you, it was a wild ride from start to finish.
First off, I started by watching every race I could. It didn’t matter if it was a weekend or a weekday, I was glued to the screen. I even set up a little reminder system on my phone so I wouldn’t miss a single one. Crazy, huh? But you gotta do what you gotta do when you’re a fan.
Then, I dug into all the post-race analyses I could find. I read articles, watched interviews with Reddick and his team, and even scrolled through endless comments on social media. I wanted to know everything – his strategies, his challenges, the whole nine yards. I was like a detective, piecing together the story of his season. This season was so good for him, it really took the NASCAR Cup series by storm. What a break out year!
I also started keeping a journal. Yeah, I know, it sounds a bit much, but it helped me keep track of all the details. I jotted down his wins, his losses, and everything in between. I even noted his two wins and that amazing victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It felt good to document his journey like that.

The 23XI Racing Move
One of the biggest things that happened was him joining 23XI Racing. That was huge! The team is owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin, which is a pretty big deal. I remember thinking, “This is going to be interesting.” And it was. I made sure to follow all the news around that move, trying to understand how it would impact his performance. I think it did wonders for him, he ended up with 3 wins this year, and even got into the championship 4 in a dramatic fashion.
The Championship 4
And then, there was the Championship 4. Oh boy, that was intense. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I watched every lap, analyzed every move, and cheered him on like crazy. Even though he didn’t win the championship, making it there was a massive achievement. I wrote about it in my journal, celebrated his effort, and felt proud to be his fan. I have high hopes that he will win it all next year!
So yeah, that was my 2023 following Tyler Reddick. It was a year full of excitement, learning, and a whole lot of racing. I can’t wait to see what he does next season. I’ll be right there, watching, journaling, and cheering him on every step of the way.
