Alright, so I’m a huge Cincinnati Reds fan, and I wanted to catch every game this season. But with the way things are these days, it’s not as simple as just flipping on the TV anymore. So, I did a little digging to figure out how I could watch the Reds without missing any action.

First, I checked out the options for folks in the Cincinnati area. Turns out, most of the Reds games are shown on Bally Sports Ohio. That’s the local sports channel that has the rights to broadcast the games around here. But if you don’t have cable, like me, there’s another option called . It is a subscription where you can watch the game except for national exclusivities. But It seemed expensive to me, so I decided not to buy it.
Then I looked into streaming services. I found out that lets you stream Reds games live. That’s awesome for when I’m out of town. But the prices are different from place to place. There are also many other apps that let you stream the games. But I’m sure the price is a lot. So I decided not to try any of them.
So here’s what I learned:
- If you’re in Cincinnati and you have cable, you can watch most games on Bally Sports Ohio.
- If you’re in Cincinnati but don’t have cable, you can watch most games on *.
- If you’re outside of Cincinnati, you can stream games on *.
- There are other streaming services like DIRECTV STREAM that show the games, but they can be a bit pricey.
After looking at all the options, I decided to go with * for now. It’s the most convenient for me since I travel a bit. Plus, I like being able to watch games on my phone or laptop. But I might look into DIRECTV STREAM later on if I decide I want more channels.
Anyway, that’s how I figured out how to watch the Cincinnati Reds this season. It took a little research, but now I’m all set to cheer on the team!
