Alright, folks, gather ’round, let me tell you about this little adventure I had with “Shadow of the Past” in WuWa. It all started with me just poking around, you know, exploring the Huanglong region like any other day. I had just reached level 10, which is apparently the magic number to kick things off. That’s when I heard about this quest, “Shadows of the Past”, and I was like, “Why not?”
So, I started chatting up some of the NPCs scattered around the world. They gave me some clues, kinda vague, but hey, it’s something. This girl, Xiaoyu, was supposed to send me a message, but guess what? Radio silence. I was waiting, and waiting, and… nothing. Turns out, a lot of people had this problem. I did a bit of digging online, and it seems like this message from Xiaoyu is the key to getting the ball rolling.
Then I stumbled upon some info about this Tiger’s Maw Mine. Apparently, there’s a “colossal Tacet Discord” underneath it. Sounds scary, right? And get this, there was some kind of conflict among the mine staff when they found it. Makes you wonder what’s really going on down there.
- Reached level 10 – Unlocked the possibility of starting the questline.
- Interacted with NPCs – Got some initial clues, but nothing concrete.
- Waited for Xiaoyu’s message – Which never came, a common issue it seems.
- Found info about Tiger’s Maw Mine – Discovered there’s something big and potentially dangerous underneath.
- The conflict – The workers were fight for this Tacet Discord.
I also found some tips about dealing with some tough bosses, like Tempest Mephis. And there’s this Jue guy, who deals Electro and Spectro damage. The advice was to stock up on potions that give you resistance to those elements. I thought it was a good idea, so I made a mental note to use the Synthesizer and stock up on potions, you know, just in case. I had a fight with Tempest Mephis. It was hard, but I finally beat it.
I’m still figuring out this whole “Shadow of the Past” thing. But that’s the fun of it, right? Exploring, uncovering secrets, and occasionally running into some tough enemies. I’ll keep you guys updated as I make more progress. Who knows what other crazy stuff I’ll find in WuWa?
