Alright, let’s talk about this “Scarlet Turret” thing I bumped into the other day. It all started when I was just casually messing around in that game, Persona 3 Reload, specifically in that Episode Aigis part. I was making my way through this underground maze, the Abyss of Time, just exploring and seeing what’s up. Suddenly, I’m in this area called Harabah Block, and there it is – the Scarlet Turret.
This thing looked like a real pain, so I was like, “Okay, let’s see what this bad boy is all about.” First off, I gotta figure out its weaknesses. Turns out, this turret is kinda tough against most stuff, but I remembered reading somewhere that it’s not a fan of Electricity or Wind. Good to know.
But before I could even get to the turret, I had to navigate through this weird path. So, I followed this route, and it led me to a fork in the road. I thought, “Why not check out the Power Spot first?” Grabbed some goodies there and then headed east. This is where it got tricky. There was this gate, and I had to step on these tiles in a specific order. I messed up a few times, not gonna lie, but eventually, I figured out the pattern: west one tile, then west again, then north, and finally east. Phew, gate’s open!
Now, back to the turret. I encountered some other enemies along the way, these Maya things that apparently use a nasty one-hit kill attack called Ghastly Wail. Yeah, I didn’t want any part of that, so I made sure to take them out first. Gotta prioritize, right?
During all this, I was also picking up these gems. I heard you can farm them from certain Shadows in Tartarus, so I was keeping an eye out. They seem pretty useful, so why not stock up?
My Tussle with the Turret
Finally, I reached the Scarlet Turret. It was in this place called Kamoshidaman, in the first Theater’s 3rd Avenue. I remembered this bit about Affinity Barriers making it resistant to attacks, so I was ready for that. I started the fight, and true enough, it was shrugging off my attacks like they were nothing. But then, I broke through its barrier, and bam! Electricity and Wind attacks were doing the trick. It felt good to finally see some damage.
I also ran into these other turrets, Spastic Turret and Slaughter Drive, down on B8. Spastic Turret was a piece of cake with Ice attacks since it’s weak to them, but it loved to use Vile Assault and Concentrate. Slaughter Drive was just a grind.

- Spastic Turret: Weak to Ice, absorbs Fire. Watch out for Vile Assault and Concentrate.
- Maya: Uses Ghastly Wail, a one-hit kill move. Take them out ASAP.
- Path to the Turret: At the fork, go south for the Power Spot, then east. To open the gate: west one tile, west one more, north one, east one.
Honestly, it was a bit of a mess, but I got through it. I learned a lot about dealing with these turrets and navigating those weird paths. It’s all about figuring out their weaknesses and being patient with the process. And hey, those gems I collected along the way? Totally worth it. This whole experience was a good reminder that sometimes, you just gotta dive in, make mistakes, and learn as you go. That’s how you get better, right?
