Alright so yesterday I jumped into Fortnite again, same as always. Just looking for something fun, you know? Kept seeing this “Beef Bundle” thing popping up in the Item Shop. Like, everywhere. What the heck does this “Beef Bundle” even DO? Nobody really explained it proper. Figured, eh, why not? Just grab it and see what happens. It cost me some V-Bucks – those are Fortnite coins – yeah, just decided to spend them.
Clicking Buy & What Actually Showed Up
So I hit the purchase button. Fast. Before I could overthink it. Boom. Done. Went straight to my locker to dig through it. Here’s what I actually got for those V-Bucks:
- The “Big Beef” skin: Okay, this guy is HUGE. Looks like a walking piece of meat with arms and legs, kinda wild and funky. Makes you stand out, no joke. Big muscles, kinda funny face. Not subtle at all!
- The “Meat Masher” Pickaxe: It looks like… a giant ham? Or maybe a massive bone? Honestly not sure, but it’s chunkier than most axes. Makes this loud THONK sound when you hit stuff.
- The “Moo Juice” Wrap: Changes the look of your guns, makes them all covered in purple liquid and has cow patterns. It’s definitely… different. Bright purple guns aren’t stealthy, ha!
The “Gravy Boat” Glider: Yup, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Looks like one of those little gravy boats from fancy dinners. You pop it open, and you’re just flying around sitting in gravy. Weird, but kinda fun.
Taking the Beef Bundle For a Spin
Loaded into the game straight away with the Big Beef skin on. Right off the bus, I landed near Lonely Labs. Felt kind of exposed, honestly! This skin is massive and bright – you ain’t hiding in bushes with this guy, folks. Someone spotted me instantly from across a field. Fight was on!
Used the Meat Masher pickaxe to smash some containers – thonk, thonk, thonk. It feels pretty solid, satisfying in a weird way, but man is it slow to swing. Found a gun (shotgun, actually), slapped on the Moo Juice wrap. Bright purple shotgun? Makes you a blinking target. Got shot at almost immediately again.
Had to fall back, took some damage. Ended up in a storm for a bit, health ticking down. Not ideal. But hey, Big Beef moves okay, he didn’t feel sluggish running despite the size.
Later, found another battle going on. Got the jump on someone near an overturned Gravy Boat (it’s a prop on the map now). Using the Moo Juice-wrapped AR, took them down. Grabbed their loot. Felt pretty tough stomping around as a big meat guy.
Ended up in the Top 10. Used the Gravy Boat glider from the last mountain. Got shot out of the sky right away landing – like I said, massive target. Finished around 7th place. Got eliminated, but it was fun messing around.
So… What’s the Deal? The Actual “Benefits”
After playing a bunch more rounds with it, here’s what Beef Bundle really gets you:
- A Full Look: You get everything you need for a whole theme – skin, axe, glider, wrap. Looks totally unique.
- Loud & Proud: This isn’t about hiding. It’s about looking crazy and maybe psyching people out a little. You will get seen.
- Fun Factor: Honestly? Flying in a gravy boat and hitting things with a meat hammer is just goofy and fun. It doesn’t win the game for you, but it makes playing silly.
The BIGGEST thing? It’s purely cosmetic. None of this gives you extra health, more damage, or faster building. Nothing like that. Zero competitive edge. The skins are big, bright, and kinda slow.
Is It Worth Your V-Bucks?
Honestly? Not if you only care about winning. This bundle makes you a walking target. It actually puts you at a DISADVANTAGE for staying hidden or playing smart.
BUT… if you want to look completely ridiculous and have a laugh? If you want to show off that weird style everyone’s talking about? Then yeah, the Beef Bundle is for you. It’s pure Fortnite silly. It’s about the fun, the goof, the “what the heck is that?!” moment when another player sees you flying down in gravy.
That’s what I bought it for. Just a bit of dumb fun with big meat and purple gravy. Would probably not run it in super serious matches though. Happy gaming!
