I seen some of them games on the TV. That D’Antre, he’s quick for a big fella. He gets after them quarterbacks, tries to knock ’em down ‘fore they can throw the ball. He’s good at tacklin’, too. Wraps ’em up and brings ’em down hard. Florida Gators are lucky to have him, I reckon.

They say he’s about six foot three, maybe a little more. And weighs over three hundred pounds! That’s a big boy. He’s from Orlando, that’s down in Florida. He’s still just a young’un, they call him a freshman. Means he’s just startin’ out in college. But he’s already makin’ a name for himself. D’Antre Robinson, number 35. That’s him.

I don’t know all them fancy football terms, but I know what I see. And I see a fella who’s workin’ hard and playin’ good. He’s got that fire in him, you can tell. He wants to win. He’s a good defensive lineman for them Florida Gators.
I heard folks talkin’ ’bout him, sayin’ he’s gonna be somethin’ special. They say he’s got all the tools. Means he’s got the size, the strength, the speed, all that stuff. He needs to play more, get more practice. Get better and better. That’s what them young’uns gotta do. They gotta keep at it, day in and day out. It ain’t easy, playin’ that football. It’s hard work. But that D’Antre Robinson, he looks like he’s up for it.
I reckon we’ll be hearin’ a lot more about him in the years to come. He’s gonna be a star, I just know it. He’s got that somethin’ special. You can see it in his eyes. He’s gonna make them Florida Gators proud. And he’s gonna make that town of Orlando proud, too.

I remember when he was just a little boy. Okay, maybe not that little, he was always big. But still, time flies. Now look at him, playing for the Florida Gators. It just makes you feel good inside.
