Alright, so I was kicking back the other day, just flipping through stuff online, and I landed on some pictures of Conor McGregor. You know how it is, you see a famous face enough times and you start to notice things. And it just popped into my head – what actually is his face shape? So, I was left juggling between square and oblong, or maybe even a bit of a rectangle. His face definitely has length. If you look at him without the beard, or when it’s trimmed short, you can see his face is longer than it is wide. A true square face is usually more equal in length and width.
The beard is a master of disguise, I tell ya. When he has that big, bushy beard, it squares off his jawline massively and can make his face look shorter and wider than it actually is. It’s clever, really. Adds to that tough image.
After a good while of this very serious investigation, haha, I landed on thinking it’s more of an oblong or rectangular shape, but with very strong, almost square-like angular features, especially in the jaw. It’s not a soft oblong. It’s a very structured, chiselled oblong, if that makes sense. The length is there, but the angles are sharp.
It was actually a pretty interesting little exercise. You start looking at faces differently once you try to break them down like that. So yeah, that was my little adventure into the world of Conor McGregor’s face shape. Not exactly rocket science, but it kept me busy for a bit!
