That Yamaha MT-09, what a machine! Heard a lot about it, gotta say, sounds like a real beast. They call it a “Hyper Naked”. Sounds kinda fancy, but I guess it means it’s fast, real fast.

This thing, it’s got a big engine, 890cc. Don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds powerful. Three cylinders, they say. That’s like three little engines working together, I reckon. And 119 horsepower! That’s a whole lot of horses pulling this thing along. My old mule, Bessie, she’s only got one horsepower, and she’s pretty strong. Imagine 119 of her!
They say it goes up to 10000 RPM. Now, that’s a number I ain’t never seen before. Must be spinning real fast in there. Faster than my old sewing machine, that’s for sure.
MT 09 Weight
It’s not heavy, for something so powerful. 419 pounds, they say. That’s lighter than that old pig we had last year, the one that ate all the apples. Makes it easier to handle, I guess. You wouldn’t want something that big and fast to be too heavy, or you’d never be able to stop it.
MT 09 Frame
They make the frame out of some kind of alloy. Sounds like city folk talk to me. I just know it’s strong, keeps the whole thing together. It’s gotta be strong to hold that big engine and all that power.

You sit up high on this thing. The seat height, they measure it. Probably so you know if you can touch the ground. Important if you ain’t as tall as a beanpole.

Then there’s the MT-09 SP. What’s that SP mean anyway? Super Powerful? It’s a souped-up version, I reckon, like adding hot peppers to your chili. Even more horsepower, even faster. It’s for them daredevils, the ones who like to live on the edge, like a squirrel running on a power line.
All in all, that Yamaha MT-09, and its fancy brother, the MT-09 SP, seem like real machines. Strong, fast, and ready to go. If you like speed, this might just be the thing for you. Me? I’ll stick to my rocking chair on the porch, thank you very much. But I can appreciate a good machine when I see one. And that MT-09, it’s a good one, I can tell. It’s got the specifications that make it a real winner.
