Sahak Parparyan. Yeah, that name. Probably doesn’t ring a bell for most, right? It didn’t for me either, not until a few days back.

I was just burning time online, flicking through random videos. You know how it is. Then this fight clip shows up. No fancy intro, just action. And this one guy, he caught my eye. Sharp. Powerful.
Hold on, I thought. Who’s that? Had to rewind, squint at the screen. ‘Sahak Parparyan’. The name stuck with me. Sounded like a fighter’s name, if you know what I mean. Later found out he’s Armenian.
So, I dug around a bit. My ‘practice’ for the day, you could say.
Wasn’t planning on a deep dive. But one video led to another. It’s always like that, isn’t it?
- Turns out he’s a kickboxer. And not just some chump. Real deal.
- Saw him in K-1, in Glory. Fought some big names.
- His style? He’s not all flash. More of a stalker. Patient. Then BAM, he unloads. That left hook of his, man, it’s a problem for anyone.
- And he’s got a chin. Took some shots in a few fights I saw. Kept coming.
It’s not always about the highlight reel knockouts, though. I started noticing the little things. The way he cuts off the ring. How he throws feints to draw a reaction. Stuff that doesn’t always make the flashy compilations.
Look, I’m no expert. I don’t break down fights for a living. But you watch enough of anything, you start to see patterns, appreciate the skill. And this guy, Parparyan, he’s got skill. It’s the quiet kind of dangerous.

My whole afternoon ended up being about this dude. Wasn’t on my to-do list. ‘Learn about Armenian kickboxer.’ Nope. But that’s how discoveries happen, I guess. Just fell into it.
Why am I even telling you this? No big reason. Just sharing a random find. Maybe you’ll check him out, maybe not. But for me, it was a good few hours spent watching someone who’s damn good at what they do. Better than arguing on the internet, anyway. So yeah, Sahak Parparyan. Remember the name, or don’t. My ‘practice’ is done on this one, for now.
