Well, well, well, lookie here, talking ’bout that Copa America thing again. That’s that big soccer game, right? My grandkids, they all into it. They say, Brazil, they good. They play real good in that Copa America. This year, they say it in America. Lots of places. Big stadiums.
That Brazil team, they playin’ all over. They got this first game, I hear, against Costa Rica. June 24th, that’s what they say. Big fancy stadium, that SoFi place, down in Los Angeles. Sounds like a real hootenanny, I tell ya. They play at 6 o’clock. In the evening. That’s what that means, 6 p.m. You know, local time, like they say.
And then they got another game, that Brazil team. They playin’ against Colombia. July 2nd, that one is. And they playin’ at another big fancy stadium, that Levi’s Stadium. Sounds like a jean company, don’t it? But I guess it a big ol’ stadium. They play a lot of soccer games there. A whole lot of soccer in this Copa America thing.
This whole thing, it starts June 21st, goes to July 15th. That long, huh? Long time for a bunch of fellas to be kickin’ a ball around. But them boys, they sure do love it. And Brazil, they good, they say. They in Group D, with Colombia. That what I hear.
They say Brazil, they tryin’ to win that Copa America. They want that big trophy. They lost last time, three years back, to somebody. Argentina, maybe? I don’t recall. They call it heartbreaking. Like somebody broke their little hearts. Silly, ain’t it? It just a game. But I guess it a big deal to them soccer folks.

Now, they got some good players, these Brazil boys. Alisson, that fella’s the goalie, I think. Then there’s Danilo, and Marquinhos, and Militao. Wendell, they got him, too. Don’t know these fellas, but they sound important. Paqueta, Guimaraes, Luiz, Raphinha, Rodrygo, they all playin’ for Brazil in this Copa America thing. They all sound like a mouthful, don’t they? I bet they mamas call ’em somethin’ shorter.
They say there is eight of them big stadiums where they playin’ this Copa America thing. Eight big stadiums in this Copa America. And they gonna play that World Cup thing in a couple years. 2026, I believe. Some of the same stadiums. They play in America, and Mexico, and Canada. That all I know.

This one fella, Neymar, he ain’t playin’. Hurt his leg, they say. Tore somethin’ in his leg, somethin’ called an ACL. Sounds painful. He was playin’ against Uruguay. Last October, that when it happened. Poor fella. He not gonna be in this Copa America, then. That too bad.
One time, Brazil, they lost to Uruguay in this Copa America thing. Lost on penalties, that what they call it. Sounds like they got in trouble, don’t it? But it just part of the game. They was tied, 0-0, and then they had to do them penalty kicks. And Brazil, they lost. 4-2, I think that was it. They don’t have no extra time in this thing. Just go right to them penalty kicks.
Well, that all I know about this Copa America and where Brazil playin’. They playin’ all over the place, that for sure. It a big deal, this soccer thing. Bigger than a hog at the county fair, I reckon. They say, this year, the Copa America is a big deal. Brazil, they hope they can win.
They got all their games listed somewhere. You can find it, I’m sure. All the games, all the scores. They got it all wrote down somewhere. Just gotta look for it. All about that Copa America, and them Brazil fellas. That all I know.
