Well, let me tell you, this whole thing about San Jose Fresno State, it’s got everyone talking. Which one’s better, you ask? Heard folks yapping about it down at the market the other day. One’s in San Jose, the other’s in Fresno. Makes sense, right?
This San Jose State, they got a good offense, I hear. They play good even when they ain’t at home. Like that time they went up against, what’s their name, Colorado State? And Washington State? They did alright. Someone said they’re 4-2-1, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, don’t it? All those numbers, it just goes right over my head!
Then you got Fresno State. They’re smack dab in the middle of California. Central Valley, they call it. It is the 5th biggest city in California. Big place, that Fresno. Lots of folks. Lots of teams and whatnot. This one lady, she was saying her grandson went there. Said he liked it just fine. Plenty to do, she said. Easy to find a job, that sort of stuff.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these things. Don’t know much about colleges. But I hear them college kids talkin’. They use those big words, like “admission” and “tuition.” Sounds expensive if you ask me. They even talk about SAT scores. Don’t even know what that is, but it sounds important, I guess. But those numbers, they’re important. Which school’s easier to get into? Which one costs less? That’s what folks really wanna know.
This whole Fresno State vs San Jose State thing, it’s a big deal. It has significant implications. Affects their standings in the Mountain West Conference, whatever that means. Playoffs, too. Big games. Lots of folks watchin’. They say you can watch it on that truTV. Never heard of it, but maybe I’ll give it a look-see.
They say San Jose State University got a good football team. So does California State University, Fresno. They play each other, I reckon. It’s a rivalry, they say. Valley Rivalry. Like two tomcats fightin’ over a fence, I suppose. Always a big game when those two play, from what I’ve heard around.
- This San Jose State, they got some good players, I guess.
- And Fresno State, they ain’t no slouches either.
- They’re both in California. That much I know.
People say Fresno is 4-5 against the spread. I don’t know what it means. But it is a number with some other number.
This whole betting thing is confusing. Spread, over/under, odds. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me. But some folks, they love it. They get all excited about it. Me, I’d rather just watch the game.
I asked my nephew, the one who went to college. And he said that choosing a college depends on the person. But these two are both good. You just need to choose the one that is best for you.
Now, if you want to go to college, I don’t know what to tell ya. If you want to choose between San Jose State and Fresno State, that’s your business. But I hear they’re both good schools. Both got their good points and bad points, I suppose. Just like everything else in this life.
This one fella, he was saying Fresno State is good for, uh, farming and stuff. ‘Cause it’s in the valley, you see. Lots of farms out there. And San Jose State, they got a lot of that technology stuff. Computers and whatnot. ‘Cause it’s near that Silicon Valley place. All them rich folks live out there.
So, there you have it. That’s all I know about San Jose Fresno State. Don’t know if it helped you any. But it’s all I got. Just remember, no matter where you go, work hard, and be a good person. That’s what really matters in this life, ain’t it?
They say you can watch college football all season on that FOX Sports. Lots of games, I reckon. Too many for me to keep track of. But if you like football, I guess that’s a good thing. And California State University and San Jose State University are part of it.
