Okay, here’s my blog post about my “Singapore to Miami” experience:

So, I finally did it! I booked that crazy long trip from Singapore to Miami. It’s something I’d been dreaming about for ages, and honestly, the whole planning process was a bit of a rollercoaster.
Getting Started
First things first, I had to figure out the flights. This was NOT a simple point A to point B situation. I spent hours – seriously, hours – on different websites, playing around with dates and layover options. I felt like a travel agent myself!
I knew I wanted to break up the journey, because who wants to be on a plane for 20+ hours straight? No thanks! My initial thought was to stop somewhere in Europe, maybe London or Amsterdam. I even looked at going through the Middle East, like Dubai or Doha.
The Research Rabbit Hole
This is where things got really interesting (and a bit overwhelming). I started looking at things to do in each potential layover city. I was browsing pictures of museums, parks, restaurants… you name it. My browser was overflowing with tabs!
I used a lot of tools to find some travel notes, and compared the prices and time between them.
Making a Decision (Finally!)
After all that research, I ended up choosing a route with a layover in London. It just seemed like the best balance of flight times, layover length, and things I wanted to see and do. Plus, I’d always wanted to visit London, so it was a perfect excuse.
The Actual Journey
The trip itself was a blur of airports, airplane food, and trying to sleep in awkward positions. The Singapore to London leg was pretty smooth. I watched a few movies, ate some (questionable) pasta, and managed to get a few hours of sleep.
London was amazing! I only had about 24 hours there, but I crammed in as much as I could. I saw Buckingham Palace, walked across Tower Bridge, and even had some fish and chips. It was a whirlwind, but totally worth it.
The London to Miami flight was… long. But I was so excited to finally get to Miami that I didn’t even mind too much. I think I watched every movie on the in-flight entertainment system.
Miami!
Landing in Miami was incredible. The warm air, the palm trees… it was like stepping into a different world. I grabbed my bags, hopped in a taxi, and headed straight to my hotel. I could go on and on about everything.

The whole Singapore to Miami journey was definitely an adventure. It was long, tiring, but ultimately, so rewarding. Would I do it again? Absolutely!
