That Dawntrail sightseeing log, heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it. Sounds like a whole heap of nothin’ to me, but young’uns seem to like it. They say you gotta go places, do things, see stuff. Well, I seen plenty in my time, ain’t no need to go traipsin’ all over creation just to look at somethin’.

But, these young folks, they got their fancy games, their Final Fantasy XIV, whatever that is. And in this game, there’s this thing, this Dawntrail sightseeing log. Like a diary, I reckon, but for places, not what you ate for breakfast. Some lady, name of Elsebee, Elsebee Ironheart, somethin’ like that, in a place called, uh, Tulliyollal. You gotta go see her first, they say. She’ll tell you ’bout the first bunch of places, 28 of ’em, to be exact. Then there is another place called Solution Nine. Elsebee will be there too. She will tell you another 17 places. What a waste of time!

You gotta stand just right, they say, in these Vista spots. And then you gotta do a, what’s it called, an “emote.” Like wavin’ or dancin’ or some such nonsense. And that’s it. That’s how you fill up this Dawntrail sightseeing log. Seems like a lot of work for nothin’ if you ask me. But hey, if it keeps ’em out of trouble, I guess it ain’t the worst thing.
They been doin’ this for a while, this sightseeing log thing. Since somethin’ called patch 2.28. Don’t know what that means, but it sounds like a long time ago. Long time to be wastin’ time lookin’ at things, if you ask me. They say it’s a staple. Sounds like they need staple their eyes to somethin’ useful, like a good book or a needle and thread. Mend your own clothes, I say, that’s a sight worth seein’.
