That boy, he like that Trump fella. Always wear that hat. Even when he play football. Other day, I seen him on TV with that hat. He was playing the game, win the game. Then, put on that hat. The red one. Bosa Trump hat. He got fined, I heard. $11, I think.
Them football folks, they don’t like that hat. Say it no good. But Bosa, he don’t care. He wear it anyway. He like Trump. Say he gonna make America great again. I don’t know about that. But that Bosa, he a good boy. Strong. Play hard.
My grandson, he want one of them hats. Trump hat. I told him, “Boy, where you gonna get money for that?” He say, “Grandma, you buy me one!” I say, “Hush your mouth. Them hats cost money.” But he keep asking. “Grandma, Bosa Trump hat! I want Bosa Trump hat!”
I went to that store, the one with all them hats. Lids, they call it. They got all kinds of hats there. Baseball hats, football hats, all them hats. But that Trump hat, that red one, they say it special. It like the one Bosa wear. Bosa Trump hat, they call it.
That hat, it cost a lot, they say, I don’t want to spend so much money. But my grandson, he want it bad. He say, “Grandma, if Bosa can wear it, I can wear it too!” That boy, he stubborn. Just like his mama.
They say you can find those hats, them Trump hats, all over. Even online. I don’t know about that online stuff. I like to see things with my own eyes. Feel them with my own hands. But the young folks, they all about that online. They say it easier. Cheaper, maybe. I don’t know.

I still don’t know if I should get my grandson that hat. It a lot of money. But he want it so bad. He say he gonna be just like Bosa. Play football. Wear the hat. Make America great again.

This world, it a crazy place. Full of football and Trump hats and boys with big dreams. I just try to keep up. Try to understand. It not easy. But I do my best. For my grandson. For Bosa. For America.
