Okay, so I’ve been hyped about the possibility of a “Warcraft 2” movie ever since the first one came out. I mean, the first movie, despite its flaws, was a decent start, it’s visual is very cool. So, I did a little digging today to see what’s up.
I started by just hitting up Google. You know, the usual “warcraft 2 movie” search. I was hoping for some concrete news, maybe a release date, a trailer, anything!
Initial Searches – Lots of Speculation
- I got a bunch of articles talking about the possibility of a sequel. Lots of “ifs” and “maybes.”
- Many Fan forums are discussing what they’d like to see in a second movie.
- There were also some older articles referencing Duncan Jones (the director of the first movie) and his ideas for a trilogy, that got me a little excited.
I got nothing solid there, sadly.
Digging Deeper – Following the Breadcrumbs
Next, I tried to find anything from official sources. I remember the first movie, Legendary Pictures was involved, So I went digging through any news or announcements from them. Scrolled and searched…and nothing specific about a Warcraft sequel. Big bummer.
Community Buzz – Fan Theories
After that, I spent some time just browsing fan forums and Reddit threads. You know, see what the community is saying. The vibe is pretty mixed. Some people are super optimistic, pointing to things like the movie’s success in China as a reason a sequel might happen. Others are way more pessimistic, figuring the first movie didn’t do well enough in other markets to justify another one.
My Conclusion (For Now…)
Honestly, I’m still a little hopeful, even with all that. My final is that there are so many people loved this game or movie all of the world, it still alive in our memory. But realistically, there’s nothing concrete out there. It’s all just wishful thinking and speculation at this point. I’m going to keep my eyes peeled, though.
