Alright, so I decided to try and snag a Jormuntide Ignis. I’d seen some videos online and it looked pretty cool, so I figured, why not? I jumped into the game, ready to go. My first thought was, “Okay, where do these things even hang out?”

Locating the Beast
I did a bit of searching around, asked in a few chats, and finally found out these guys are kind of rare. They don’t just pop up anywhere. Apparently, I needed to head over to a specific volcanic area. I won’t say exactly where, ’cause, you know, gotta keep some secrets, haha! But let’s just say it’s hot, it’s fiery, and it’s definitely not a place you’d want to vacation.
The Hunt Begins
So, I geared up. Made sure I had plenty of heat-resistant stuff, and, most importantly, a whole bunch of those capture spheres. I wasn’t taking any chances. I spent a good few hours just wandering around this volcanic zone, dodging lava flows and fighting off some of the other creatures that live there. Let me tell you, it was intense!
I finally spotted one! It was massive, fiery, and honestly, a little intimidating. I took a deep breath and started the battle.
The Battle and Capture
- First attempt: Total fail. I went in too aggressively and got toasted. Lesson learned: Don’t underestimate these guys.
- Second attempt: I played it a bit safer, dodging its attacks and chipping away at its health. Threw a sphere… and it broke free. Ugh!
- Third, fourth, fifth attempts: Same story. This thing was stubborn! I was starting to run low on spheres and getting pretty frustrated.
- Sixth attempt: Okay, this was it. I was down to my last few spheres. I weakened it as much as I dared, held my breath, and threw the sphere…
…and it worked! I actually caught it! I couldn’t believe it. I jumped up and cheered, probably scaring my neighbors. But hey, I got a Jormuntide Ignis!
The Aftermath
Now I’ve got this awesome, fiery creature as part of my team. It’s a beast in battles, and it just looks so cool. Was it worth the effort? Absolutely. Would I do it again? Probably not anytime soon, my heart can only take so much! But hey, I’ve got the bragging rights now, and that’s what really matters, right?

It all starts with a desire, an explore, then many fails and tries, finally I got it. That’s my experience!
