Okay, so I wanted to get good at the interview stuff in Madden 25’s Connected Franchise mode. I heard getting those right can really help boost your player’s development and make things easier. So, I figured I’d dive in and see what it was all about.

Getting Started
First thing I did was fire up a new franchise. I picked a team I liked, the Chargers – gotta love those uniforms! – and created a new player. I went with a quarterback, because, why not? It’s the most important position, right?
Practice Makes Perfect?
I jumped straight into some games. I figured playing a few would give me a feel for the questions they might ask in the interviews. The questions pop up at random times, it seems – sometimes before a game, sometimes after. Kinda keeps you on your toes.
The first few interviews, man, I totally bombed them. I was just picking answers that sounded good, you know? Like, “Yeah, I’m totally focused on the team,” or, “We’re gonna dominate!” Turns out, that’s not always the best approach.
Figuring out the system
So, I started paying more attention to the questions. And my player’s personality. There are these personality traits, like “Team Player” and “Confident”. I realized the answers had to match up with those. If my player was a “Team Player,” I couldn’t pick the cocky, “I’m the best” type answers.
- Team Player: Pick the answers that talk about teamwork, supporting teammates, and putting the team first.
- Confident: You can be a little more boastful here, but not too much. Focus on believing in your abilities.
- Media Friendly: Choose the diplomatic answers. Don’t say anything that will make the reporters mad.
My “Aha!” Moment
The biggest thing I learned? It’s about consistency. You can’t be a “Team Player” one week and a total egomaniac the next. You gotta stick with your player’s personality. Build it up over time.
So, I began to select answers that were consistent. My player started to getting more of those positive messages after the interviews, like “Your player’s confidence is growing!” or “He’s becoming a real leader!” That’s when I knew I was on the right track.
Still Learning
Honestly, I’m still figuring it all out. It’s not like there’s one “right” answer for every question. It depends on the situation, your player’s personality, and even how the season is going. If you’re losing every game, saying “We’re the best!” probably isn’t gonna fly.
But hey, that’s part of the fun, right? It’s a challenge. And I’m all about getting better at this game. So I will practice more, and I think I’m getting the hang of it. My quarterback is finally starting to sound like a real pro in those interviews, and his stats are improving too. Winning!
