Alright, so I wanted to make a compilation video of Neymar Jr.’s best moments when he was at Barcelona. I’m a huge fan, and I thought it would be cool to put something together myself. So, here’s how I did it.

Finding the Footage
First things first, I needed the clips. I started by hitting up some of those, you know, video-sharing sites. I spent a good few hours just searching for “Neymar Jr Barcelona highlights,” “Neymar Jr best goals,” “Neymar Jr skills,” and stuff like that. I downloaded a bunch of videos, some were whole matches, others were just short clips. It was a total mix.
Choosing the Best Moments
Next up, the hardest part – picking which moments made the cut. I watched, and re-watched, all the footage I’d downloaded. I wanted a good mix of goals, assists, skills, and maybe some of those funny or emotional moments, too.
I created a new folder on my pc desktop, I made sure I had enough space.
- Goals: Obviously, I included some of his best goals, like that insane one against Villarreal, where he flicked it over the defender’s head and volleyed it in. Pure magic!
- Skills: I found loads of clips of him doing those crazy dribbles and nutmegs. The guy’s feet are just unreal.
- Assists: Had to show off his playmaking ability too, so I grabbed clips of some of his best passes and assists to Messi and Suarez.
- MSN Connection: There were tons of great moments with him, Messi, and Suarez just destroying defenses. I made sure to grab a bunch of those.
Editing It Together
Now for the fun part, the editing!
I used free video editing software that my friend told me, It’s pretty simple to use, even for a beginner like me.
I started by importing all the clips I’d chosen. Then, it was just a matter of arranging them in an order that made sense, and then put my favorite music in backgroud, cutting out any unnecessary bits, and adding some transitions. I’m not gonna lie, this took a while. It was a lot of trial and error, moving things around, seeing what looked good.
Adding Music and Finishing Touches
Once I had the clips arranged, I added some background music.I found some royalty-free tracks that had a good energy and fit the vibe of the video. I played around with the audio levels to make sure the music wasn’t too overpowering.
Finally, I watched the whole thing through a few times, making any last-minute tweaks. Then, I exported it in a good quality format, you know, so it looked nice and crisp.

And that’s pretty much it! It was a fun little project, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It was a labor of love, a tribute to one of my favorite players during his amazing Barcelona days.
