All About Kayla Gomez Boxing: Follow Her Journey! (Win or Lose Records)

Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Kayla Gomez Boxing” thing popping up all over my feed, and I finally caved. I had to see what the hype was about. I’m not usually one for fitness trends, but this one looked kinda fun, and honestly, I needed to shake up my routine.

Getting Started

First, I just did a quick search to see, you know, what equipment I even needed. Turns out, not much! I already had some basic workout clothes, so I didn’t need to buy a whole new wardrobe. Score! I grabbed some old sneakers, I found a pair of cheap hand wraps online(They protect knuckle’s skin), and that was pretty much it. I was ready to rock… or, uh, box.

The First Workout

I found a beginner Kayla Gomez boxing workout, put my hands on the hand wraps, and hit play. I figured, “How hard could it be?”. Famous last words, right? The warm-up alone had me sweating. Kayla is ENERGETIC, wow! She’s all smiles and encouragement, but my muscles were already burning.

Then came the actual boxing. I’m pretty sure I looked like a flailing baby giraffe at first. Trying to remember the different punches – jab, cross, hook, uppercut – while also moving my feet? It was a LOT to coordinate. Kayla broke it down pretty well, but my brain and body were not cooperating at the start.

  • Jab: Felt awkward. Like I was poking a bear… gently.
  • Cross: This one felt a little better, like I was actually putting some power behind it.
  • Hook: Totally messed this up multiple times. Kept hitting myself in the face. Graceful, I am not.
  • Uppercut: Surprisingly satisfying! This one made me feel kinda badass.

Sweat and Struggles

I’m not gonna lie, I had to pause the video a few times to catch my breath. And to stop laughing at myself. There were moments where I definitely felt ridiculous, but you know what? I was having fun. Even when I was stumbling around, I was smiling. And sweating. A LOT.

The Aftermath

After the workout, I felt… amazing! Like, I-could-conquer-the-world amazing. My muscles were sore, but in a good way. I felt like I’d actually accomplished something. Plus, I got to punch things (even if it was just air), which is a pretty great stress reliever.

I was so suprised after I finished all the sets, I think I’m going to do this boxing more!
