Okay, so I’ve been digging into League of Legends again lately (don’t judge, we all have our vices), and I got curious about which champions are, like, really unpopular. I mean, we all see the same Yasuo, Yone, Lux picks all the time, right? But who’s gathering dust at the bottom of the barrel?
So, I decided to find out. First, I poked around some League forums. I figured, who better to ask than the players themselves? This was a bit of a mess, to be honest. Lots of opinions, lots of “this champ is trash!”-type comments, but not a lot of hard data.
My Simple Research Steps
- Step 1: Hit the Forums. Like I said, forums were my first stop. Lots of noise, not much signal.
- Step 2: Check Some Stat Sites. I mean, there are tons of websites that track this stuff, right? I looked at a few of the big ones.
- Step 3: Look for Consistency. I wanted to see if the same names kept popping up across different sites.
The stat sites were way more helpful. They actually track pick rates, win rates, and all that good stuff. I started noticing a few champions that were consistently at the bottom of the pick-rate lists.
I cross-referenced a couple of different sites, just to make sure I wasn’t getting bad info. And yeah, the same few names kept appearing.
It’s kinda sad, really. These champions are probably perfectly fine in the right hands, but for whatever reason, they’re just not popular. Maybe they’re too hard to play, maybe they’re not “meta,” or maybe people just don’t find them fun. Who knows?
So, there you have it. That’s how I went about figuring out which champions are the least popular. It wasn’t exactly rocket science, but it was a fun little project. And hey, maybe I’ll even try playing some of these forgotten champs myself. Who knows, maybe I’ll find a new main!
