Okay, here’s my blog post about converting 95kg to stones, written in a casual, personal style:

So, I was messing around with some weight conversions the other day – you know, just for kicks. I’d been looking at some strongman stuff, and those guys always talk about lifting in stones. I weigh about 95 kilograms, which I know is roughly 210 pounds, but I had NO idea what that was in stones. Time for some good ol’ internet research!
First, I grabbed my phone and fired up Google. A quick search told me that one stone is equal to 14 pounds. Okay, cool. But I can’t do that math in my head. I need to get those kilograms into pounds.
Simple Conversion Process
- 95 kilograms needs to be changed to pounds.
- Easy enough: 95kg multiply 2.2 (because 1kg equal about 2.2 pounds) equals around 209 pounds.
- Then, find out, one stone equals 14 pounds.
I switched to the calculator app on my phone. Entered 209, Then divided that by 14 (the number of pounds in a stone). BAM! The answer popped up: 14.93.
So, there you have it. 95 kilograms is basically 14.93 stones. I guess I’m not quite lifting “15 stones” yet, but it’s a fun little fact to know. It is the result that I have been doing and got. It’s cool to think about my weight in a totally different way. Now I can kind of imagine what those strongman competitors are dealing with!
