Okay, so I wanted to mess around with some Premier League data, specifically the 2021 standings. I figured it would be a fun little project to see if I could pull the information together myself. Nothing fancy, just a personal experiment.

Getting Started
First thing I did was, well, I Googled “premier league standings 2021”. Seemed like the most obvious place to start, right? I just needed to grab the basic info – teams, wins, losses, draws, points, that kind of stuff.
Digging In
I found a few websites that showed tables of the data. After I got to look at a few search result items, I picked one that looked pretty clean and easy to understand.
I decided I would try copying and pasting the table to record and organize the data.
Putting It All Together
I started, copying the table and pasting into a notepad file, it was a little clunky, but it worked! I had all the team names, their positions, wins, losses, draws, goals for, goals against, goal difference, and total points.
Wrapping Up
So yeah, that’s pretty much it. I successfully grabbed the 2021 Premier League standings. It wasn’t rocket science, but it was a satisfying little exercise. Sometimes it’s fun to just grab some data and see what you can do with it, even if it’s just for your own amusement.
