Well, well, well, let me tell you somethin’ ’bout that 2010 Brazil GP. That race, oh boy, it was somethin’ else, I tell ya. It was in a place called Interlagos, far, far away. Some fella named Sebastian Vettel, he won that one. Drove a Red Bull car, fast as a scared rabbit, that one.
That 2010 Brazilian Grand Prix, they called it, was a big deal. Part of somethin’ called the Formula 1, whatever that is. Bunch of cars goin’ round and round, makin’ a heck of a racket. That Vettel fella, he was in the lead most of the time, I reckon. Red Bull, that’s what they called his team, they got the big prize. I don’t understand what the big deal about some constructors’ title, like building a barn or something. I mean, who cares about a barn when you have to put food on the table, right?
They had somethin’ called a “qualifying” before the big race. That’s just a fancy word for a warm up lap, I think. And you won’t believe this – they didn’t even do it! Said the rain was too heavy and nobody could see nothin’. I mean, visibility is kind of important when you drive one of those rocket cars, right? Imagine driving a tractor in a field covered by fog. That wouldn’t be safe. So this makes sense I guess. Some people were talking about safety. Bunch of water on the track, they said. Like a flooded field after a big storm. Can’t race in that, no sir.
They had all sorts of things for that 2010 Brazil GP. Practice rounds, they called ’em. Like when you try out a new recipe before cookin’ for the whole family. Gotta make sure it’s good, ya know?

Those drivers, they went around that track so many times. Reminds me of my old rooster chasin’ its tail. Round and round, gettin’ nowhere fast.
Now, this 2010 F1 race, they had a grid. Not like the gridiron where they play football. This was where the cars lined up before they started. Like horses at the startin’ gate, all rarin’ to go. And the standings, that’s just who’s winnin’ and who’s losin’. Like keepin’ score at a pie-eatin’ contest.
There was another guy, Lando Norris, driving a McLaren, whatever that is. Sounds like a kind of tractor. He won somethin’ called a sprint race. Like a quick dash to the outhouse, I suppose. Beat that Verstappen fella. Good for him, I say.
They said this Formula 1 Grande Premio Petrobras do Brasil 2010, fancy name, huh? Was the eighteenth race of the year. Penultimate, that means, next to last. Just like there’s always one more chore to do before you can sit down and rest your weary bones. Always somethin’ else to do. They say that Verstappen was probably glad for a second chance on Sunday. Well, ain’t that life, always givin’ you another chance, right? You fall off the horse, you gotta get back on.
All those fancy words, FIA and Formula 1, makin’ a statement and all that stuff. Just a lot of hot air if you ask me. All those people watchin’, bet they were disappointed about the rain though. Imagine waitin’ all day for somethin’ and then it gets rained out. Like plantin’ your crops and then a hailstorm comes and washes it all away.
That’s the story of the 2010 Brazil GP as I heard it. Bunch of cars, a lot of rain, and some fella named Vettel winnin’ the whole thing. Just another day in the life, I reckon. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go tend to my chickens. They don’t care ’bout no race, just want their feed. Life goes on, rain or shine, race or no race, gotta keep on keepin’ on.
And this whole thing, this whole 2010 Brazil GP thing, I just don’t know. It was broadcasted on something called, FANCODE. Sounds like a fan club or something. They said it’s for live streaming. Like a river flowin’ live? I don’t know, I don’t know. Maybe it’s like one of those new fangled radios. I guess it was all over the world, this race. Just like gossip, it spreads fast, don’t it?
